Screenings (also called screening tests or exams) are medical tests that doctors or health practitioners use to check for diseases and health conditions before there are any signs or symptoms. Screenings help find problems early on, when they may be easier to treat to prevent complications in the future. Some of the screenings we offer are outlined below:

* Sexual Transmitted infection (STD/STI)

* Cholesterol, diabetes, high blood,

* Cervical Cancer 

* Pap smear 

* Breast Cancer (Clinical Breast Exam, Mammogram Referral)

* Prostate Cancer (Prostate specific Antigen)

These type of exam exams may also be called routine check-ups, annual, yearly exams, an annual pap, or preventive visit. Most health plans will pay for one wellness or preventative exam per year. An annual exam does not include discussion of new problems or detailed review of chronic conditions

MEN HEALTH .These are health issues that impact men health including but not limited to erectile dysfunction, low testosterone, screening for prostate and colorectal cancer

* Erectile dysfunction -ED (difficulty initiating and or maintaining adequate erection for satisfactory performance (this may be due to chronic conditions that causes blockage of flow nitrate oxide to the penile bed to induce erection) Sometimes ED may be caused psychological problem such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, sexual traumas etc. 

Low testosterone (Low T)/Hypogonadism- Male hypogonadism is a condition in which the testicles do not work the way they should. Symptoms include low testosterone, low energy, fatigue, and a lower sexual drive. Treatment methods include giving the patient testosterone in the form of (Injection, Patch, Gel Pump), or increasing the signals from the brain that cause the testicle to produce testosterone and sperm.

Specialty Care Services: 

This service focuses on a specific area of medicine other than usual primary care or common illnesses or diseases. Addiction medicine is part of our specialty area of practice. We are specialized and licensed to offer the following program; 

OFFICE-BASED MEDICATION ASSISTED THERAPY

* A Waiver-based buprenorphine treatment for individual with drug or opioid use disorder and dependency where we prescribe suboxone or buprenorphine treatment and monthly maintenance therapy.  Also, we offer maintenance for alcohol dependency and or abuse following supervised detox at an inpatient facility.

WOMEN HEALTH: These are unique issues that impact women health including pregnancy, menopause, conditions of the female reproductive organs. We assist women have healthy pregnancy by getting early and regular prenatal care. We educate women about recommended breast cancer, cervical cancer, and bone density and colorectal cancer screenings. We offer treatment for menopause, uncomplicated infertility, sexually transmitted infections. 

* We offer hormones replacement therapy for women who meets criteria and have no absolute contraindication.

Chronic diseases are medical conditions lasting 3 months or more, by the definition of the U.S. National Center for Health Statistics. Chronic diseases generally long-lasting, cannot be prevented by vaccines or cured, but controlled with medication. They require ongoing medical attention or limit activities of daily living or both.  Individuals living with chronic illnesses often must manage daily symptoms.
